The PADI Assistant Instructor course is the first part of the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). You will not only gain additional experience as a PADI professional but you will also start learning the PADI system of education.
During this course you will develop your knowledge through self study, quizzes and presentations. Take part in confined water skills reviews and workshops as well as Open Water workshops, Rescue assessments and candidate presentations.
Once you have completed this course you will be ready and eager to complete the PADI IDC and enjoy a long career as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. This qualification meets the European standard EN14413 - 1 Instructor level 1
Course pre requisites
Age: Minimum 18 Years Old
All candidates must have....
PADI Divemaster rating or qualifying certification from a similar organisation
60 Logged Dives including experience in Deep, Night and Underwater Navigation dives.
Been a certified diver for 6 months or more.
